  • Harvest Festival 2014:  Thursday, October 30, 5:00-8:00 pm, Milledgeville Campus.  This event will feature live music, games, hay rides, free refreshments, give aways and will focus on Academic programs.  Admission fee will be waived for this day only.

  • Food Drive: The  Student American Dental Hygienists' Association (SADHA) is hosting a canned food drive to benefit the Middle Georgia Food Bank. Donation boxes are located on the Macon campus.  Deadline: November 13th.  Contact Pam Mazaris for more information.

Central Georgia Technical College is committed to increasing the number of college graduates within its seven county service delivery area. The College is involved in two national efforts to improve retention and graduation rates, Achieving the Dream (ATD) and Complete College Georgia (CCG).

Adult Education Program

Central Georgia Technical College's Adult Education Program (AEP) helps each student acquire the basic skills - writing, computation, speaking, and listening - necessary to compete successfully in today's workplace, to strengthen individual character and family foundations, and to exercise full citizenship.

English Literacy (ESL)

The English Literacy/Civics Program is designed for adults with limited or non-English speaking skills. These classes provide English instruction and additional skills necessary for students to live and work in Georgia. The Adult Education program at Central Georgia Technical College offers various levels of instruction from basic literacy to advanced levels. Help is also offered in obtaining U.S. citizenship.
