Graduation Ceremony Information

May 12, 2009 – Deadline to submit your request to participate in the graduation ceremony.

June 16, 2009 – Graduation practice will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Monument Room at the Macon Coliseum. Practice will not last more than one (1) hour. If you are unable to attend, you must have a representative attend for you.

June 17, 2009 – Graduation ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Macon Coliseum. All graduates must be seated in the Monument Room by 6:30 p.m.

• Tickets are NOT issued for the graduation ceremony. You may invite as many people as you like. There is no charge for parking.

• Graduation usually lasts approximately one and a half hours.

• Graduates should wear dark colored clothing and shoes, preferably black or navy under your gown.

• Your cap and gown will be provided by the College.

• If you wish to purchase invitations or additional tassels you may purchase them at the bookstore.

• You may pick up your cap and gown at the bookstore after June 1 during their regular business hours.
