EMP 1000 INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS
& PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (3-0-3)
Prerequisite: Provisional admission
Provides a study of human relations and professional development
in today’s rapidly changing world that prepares students
for living and working in a complex society. Topics include:
personal skills required for understanding the self and others;
projecting a professional image; job acquisition skills such
as conducting a job search, interviewing techniques, job application
and resume preparation; desirable job performance skills;
and desirable attitudes necessary for job retention and advancement.
