FAMILY CHILD CARE PROVIDER (FCP1) (EE)
Technical Certificate of Credit
The purpose of this technical certificate is to provide a solid
Early Childhood Care and Education foundation of knowledge, skills,
attitudes, and techniques that will improve the quality of care
for children who are cared for by family child care providers. Also
this technical certificate provides guidelines and responsibilities
for professional business practices associated with the successful
establishment and administration of a Family Child Care Home. Evidence
of a current satisfactory criminal record background check is required
at the student’s expense prior to participation in ECE 142.
