Medical Assisting is a specialized training program that
provides the skills to become a competent medical assistant.
The program includes communications, mathematics, and human
relations, as well as occupational fundamentals necessary
for this field. The program also provides opportunities to
upgrade present knowledge and skills or to retrain in the
area of medical assisting. Program graduates will be well
prepared for employment in administrative and clinical support
jobs in private medical offices, public or private health
clinics, hospitals, and other health care facilities.
